<p>But why Perth of all places to test the rollout? Could it be due to the under-served broadband market in WA as stated byVividwireless chief executive Martin Mercer?</p>
<p>Or as Mitchell speculates is it more to do with Stokes media stranglehold in Perth making for a great integrated media strategy, either way the East Coast loses, if only things had gone differently in <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secessionism_in_Western_Australia">1933</a>.</p>
